Maintenance Projects
Maintenance projects are minor projects aimed at returning channels and other stormwater infrastructure to its designed condition by:
- Repairing slope failures, cavities, downspouts, water control structures, and other damage caused by erosion
- Removing sediment that can reduce stormwater conveyance capacity
- Removing trees and vegetation that restrict the flow of stormwater
- Constructing new channel crossings or upsizing existing crossings
Maintenance projects are often performed by District staff.
