Engineering
The Engineering Department is set up to meet the needs of Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 in a timely and economic manner. The department’s personnel consist of two Registered Professional Engineers, one of which is also a Registered Professional Surveyor, a Junior Engineer, a Computer-Aided Draftsman, a Project Manager, and a three-person Survey Crew.
The District Engineer and the Senior Engineer have over sixty years of successful combined experience in the hydrologic, hydraulic, and project management fields. These engineers are also Certified Floodplain Managers.
